Unit Objectives

By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

  • Understand why they have to study entrepreneurship and its importance
  • Define and describe the core elements of entrepreneurship
  • Apply these entrepreneurship theories and concepts in an attempt to research the personality of the entrepreneur.
  • Highlight the various types of entrepreneurial ventures and entrepreneurial tasks
  • Identify the entrepreneurial process and the types of Entrepreneurs

IODL before this event started with a tour and sensitisation activity with Akwadum in the Eastern Region being the first place of visit. PRACTIAL LESSON TWO
This was a practical lesson with the first years (HND 1) at Koforidua Polytechnic- Hospitality Department. One of the skills expected of these students is kneading of dough for bread rolls for at least four portions by hand. Before they are taken through the kneading process, they are taught how to clean the kitchen environment, set-up the unit, arrange the equipment, dress and self comportment. In this lesson, I tried to introduce the activity for day and inserted a video on the kneading process.
